What is a story credit?
One story credit lets you generate one complete AI novel. The price depends on how many chapters you choose — under 25 chapters is Compact ($6.99), 25–50 chapters is Standard ($7.99). Want a longer story? Write a series — each book uses one credit and the AI carries your world forward.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits never expire. Buy a bundle of 3 whenever you want and use them at your own pace — this month, next year, whenever you're ready to write.
Can I write sequels?
Yes — sequels use a credit the same as any new story. When you create a sequel, the AI is given your previous book's world bible to maintain continuity. Same characters, same world, new story.
Is Storied (the personal memoir product) included?
Storied uses the same credit system — the chapter length you choose determines whether it's Compact or Standard. Storied stories are private by default and never appear in the public library unless you choose to share them.
When does payment go live?
Payment integration is coming soon. During the beta period, story generation is free while we build out the community. When payment launches, all stories created during beta will remain in your library at no cost.
What about a Public Library subscription?
A subscription for unlimited reading access to the full Public Library community is planned for when the library grows large enough to make it worthwhile. Details will be announced when it launches. Story generation will remain pay-per-story.
